The energy performance (or energy efficiency) of a building is an analytic measure of the ways by which it saves energy, taking into account both indoor thermal comfort and outdoor climatic conditions. An efficient house from the energetic point of view needs to be: orientated considering the Sun trajectory, well insulated, and equipped with a performant energy equipment.
