Panel-built House

« Back to Glossary Index

In a large sense, all prefab houses are generally built by means of a panel-built procedure. The term Panel-built House (also known as panelised or element house) refers to the type of prefab that is transported from the fabric in two dimensional pieces, with an onsite assembling of the panels.

Panel-built houses can adopt any shape using panels as construction elements such as walls, roof or floor.
