Storey Villa is a modular house built by Commod House, a prefab manufacturer based in Austria. This modular house provides 165 m² of living space over two floors, with four bedrooms and one bathroom.
COMMOD HOUSE's Storey Villa is a two-storied house consisting of 6 modules that are spatially arranged in such a way that a setback on the ground floor creates a covered area for sheltered lounging on the south-west-facing terrace. The floor space of 165m² offers room for a family of six, with a sauna on the upper floor extending the bathroom.
The self-supporting construction of the staircase, with its transparent design, takes up the open concept of the ground floor. When entering the building, the view extends through the steps into the garden. When designing the living and dining area, special attention was paid to the generous windows, which are set in front of the structure to maximize the amount of glass. Specially planned sliding and folding sliding bars made of larch wood were made for shading.
As a monolithic block, the kitchen is the central communication element and, made of the same high-quality oak as the parquet flooring, blends into the room structure.
The house is complemented on the north side by a generous carport, which creates a covered area of storage and entrance.
