The Larger Holiday Home

A large modular house, with two large bedrooms at each end of the house, separated by an open kitchen and living room. In this example, a large holiday home was built on the Swedish west coast. The 90 square meter veranda offers great opportunities to enjoy the view of the archipelago.

Pergola

You know those summer days when the apple tree gives the perfect mix of shadow and sunlight? The strong beams gets filtered by the branches and gives a perfect reading spot under the tree? This is exactly what we wanted to accomplish when we designed the pergola! The sideways slats gives a softer light through the sliding doors, as well as the outdoor kitchen. Let some plants climb the pergola for additional shadow! The pergola is built in to the house, with the same materials as the house.

Bathroom

Our bathrooms are delivered turnkey, with water heater and prepared for a washing machine. Ready to be used directly after the installation to the sewerage system. The layouts are effectively designed to provide maximum space in relation to the size.
The walls are built like our interior walls with Knauf Ultra Board, along with vinyl on the floor and walls. The vinyl used is Tarkett iQ Natural, the world’s first vinyl floor with bio-attributed vinyl, BIOVYN ™, bio-attributed vinyl from INOVYN. This means that the fossil oil is replaced with bio-based raw materials during production.

Wood stove

Back to basics, with a bit of luxury. That was one of the ideas when Add a Room was established, and we really feel that a wood stove as a heating alternative fits that! Back to basics in terms of chopping the wood outdoors, just next to your self sufficient garden. Luxury in the terms of enjoying a cup of hot chocolate in front of the wood stove, gazing over the landscape through the big panorama windows.

The wood stove can be placed on all walls, and comes in multiple models. Please contact us to discuss the opportunities further!

Kitchen

The large kitchen fills the entire width of the living area. The kitchen provides a spacious cooking area, with good lighting from the wide window that is included. This is the perfect kitchen for a permanent house, or the food lover’s summer house.

A refrigerator, an oven and storage space is found below the counter. Here it can also be prepared for a dishwasher. As standard, the kitchen is delivered with a trendy curtain covering the storage space and refrigerator, but as an option, the kitchen is available with IKEA VOXTORP doors

Above the counter, open shelves are placed for easy storage and access. As an option, IKEA voxtorp doors can be placed. As standard, the house is delivered with a carbon filter kitchen fan, which can be replaced with a ventilating kitchen fan as an option.
