Dragonhouse is a small but fine residential building with approx. 80m2 of total area and 60 m2 of living space spread over two floors. The local building authorities specifically prescribed the gabled-roof design and it is designed asymmetrically in in order to maximize living space. The youngest residents love using this particular space as a climbing and sleeping paradise. A balcony and a loggia provide breathtaking views of the extensive mountain landscape of the Salzklammergut region. The living area represents timeless design with the modern kitchen stove, space-saving staircase and bunk bed. The façade is detailed in stylish anthracite shingles and it covers the roof and walls as a homogenous “dragon’s skin” (quote from the young inhabitants!). The anthracite windows and the anthracite-coloured landscaping complete the design.
